COOKIE POLICY
Data collection via Cookies
A cookie is a small text string that visited sites send to the browser on the User’s computer, where it is stored when the User visits a website, only to be retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. Cookies are used by the Company to operate the Site or to improve its performance, but also to provide information about the Site or the User’s browsing. The Site uses cookies for both technical and further purposes: while technical cookies are used insofar as they are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the Site as well as to provide the service expressly requested by the User (e.g. language setting, etc.), as better illustrated below, cookies for further purposes (e.g. profiling cookies, analytical cookies) are used to carry out behavioral analysis of the User on the Site, in order to improve its contents and send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the User in the context of web browsing, as indicated below.
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are essential to allow the User to move around the Site and to use its functionalities, to remember the User’s choices (e.g. language, country of origin, etc.), to distribute requests across multiple servers, to store when the User gives consent to certain options (e.g. by accepting the use of certain cookies by passing the information banner), to allow the User to view content and videos via Adobe Flash Player. These cookies last until the browser is closed and do not require the User’s consent.
The Company may also use analytical and performance cookies from third parties on the Site, for the same purposes as outlined above, and in particular from Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel in order to process analysis on how Users browse the Site, the number of pages visited or the number of clicks made on a page while browsing. The Company processes the results of these analyses only if the third party uses cookies in connection with the browser installed on the computer or other device used by the User to browse the Site.
To activate these cookies, the User may choose to give consent (which is therefore the legal basis for the processing) through the mechanism illustrated in the Company’s cookie information banner, which the User displays on the homepage/landing page of the Site when accessing it. For information on how to manage the performance and analytics cookies installed by Google Analytics and Facebook, as well as to reject them, we recommend that you consult the Google Analytics and Facebook Privacy Policy and Cookie Options at the following links:

The Company uses certain partners to display advertisements referring to the Site on third-party sites and to enable partner advertising networks to display ads that take into account the preferences of the User who has requested information about the Site or viewed its content. These cookies are used by Facebook in order to present banner ads to the User when the User is on other sites, displaying the latest content viewed on the Site. As the User browses the Site, these cookies are also used to show him/her products that might interest him/her or similar to those previously viewed, based on his/her browsing history. These cookies connect to the browser installed on the User’s computer or other devices used while browsing the Site. For information on how to manage these cookies, as well as to reject them, we advise the User to consult Facebook’s Privacy Policy and options on cookies at the following link: https://it-it.facebook.com/policies/cookies/
Finally, to learn more about profiling cookies on the Site and how to manage or disable third-party cookies, the User can visit www.youronlinechoices.com.
In addition to being able to choose whether to accept or reject all or part of the cookies used by the Site for ulterior purposes through the mechanisms outlined in this Privacy Policy, in the future, should the User wish to do so, the User will also be able to delete the cookies placed by the Site from his or her browser through the settings of the same browser. Most browsers are set to accept cookies. However, Users may configure their browsers to restrict the number of cookies accepted or block all cookies by changing their browser settings in the following ways:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Click the ‘Tools’ icon in the upper right corner and select ‘Internet Options’. In the pop-up window select ‘Privacy’. Here the User can change the cookie settings.

Please note, however, that disabling the use of all cookies on the Site (including technical cookies) will affect some of its functionality.
